With a rich background in non-profit leadership, operations and policy development, Eva Masadiego’s experience and strategic acumen have been pivotal in advancing the missions of various organizations towards impactful and meaningful results.
Prior to joining the Arizona-Mexico Commission, Eva served Governor Katie Hobbs as the Deputy Director of Operations. In this capacity, she played a significant role in spearheading the roadmap process, aligning state agencies with the Governor’s key policy priorities. Her leadership ensured the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives across agencies.
Ms. Masadiego’s leadership extends into the national arena where she advanced an organizational mission across ten states to increase the participation and representation of people of color in government. Eva also served the city of Phoenix, working directly with city council and the city manager’s office to implement comprehensive city-wide programs. Her innovative and collaborative approach were critical in driving policies and programs that addressed the needs of the community, enhancing the city’s impact and programmatic delivery.
Throughout her career, Eva has maintained a strong dedication to service. She proudly began her career as a teacher in the Balsz Elementary School District. Eva is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley and Arizona State University.
